Name: Metera Door: Door Pass (Dominant) Canon: Granblue Fantasy Canon Point: Age: 25 Appearance: here History: here is her wiki, but since her history is largely buried in the scripts on this wiki, essentially:
Personality: Metera is the very definition of wild child. Born into a small village where her elders constantly tried to get her to conform to certain expectations and "tone down" her powers, Metera grew tired of being stifled by the local townspeople and ran away from home at an early age. This is only the first of her actions that show her to be extremely reckless. She does what she wants, when she wants at any given time, with little regard for worrying about her own safety. Many characters throughout the game comment negatively with regards to her fearlessness, and indeed, if it weren't for how highly competent she is at getting out of sticky situations, she'd give the impression of having a deathwish. She does not fear traveling to new areas— in fact, save for the Grandcypher, she really doesn't have what you'd call a "home". Nor does she fear taking on any enemy. Her recklessness extends to flirting with and trying to seduce her enemies, even when it's completely unnecessary. And who could be so reckless, but someone possessing a high degree of arrogance? Metera genuinely believes that she is among the best of the best. She has no insecurities with regards to her fighting abilities, her self-perceived charisma, or her looks. She is so arrogant that she seems to become selectively deaf when other characters attempt to point out any flaws in her character. She refers to herself as "Best Girl Metera" on one occasion without any sense of irony. Such arrogance coupled with her free-spirited nature also means that when Metera flirts, she flirts often, and she flirts extremely shamelessly. To say that she's thirsty would be an understatement. She revels in teasing the MC, gratuitously throwing out innuendos that make members of the crew both blush and grow exasperated. And Metera is constantly on the hunt, keeping an eye out for the next guy to date and have fun with. To Metera, living independently and by her own rules is her version of living her Best Life. Doing what she wants when she wants also means that she's difficult to convince in terms of doing things that don't directly benefit her. She tends to be quite narcissistic like that, and is generally regarded as lazy when it comes to participating in missions. Yes, she's powerful, but she'd rather spend her day lounging or sunbathing rather than fighting to rescue someone she doesn't even know. The crew essentially has to bully her to get her to help them, which makes Metera come off as selfish and uncaring. Such accusations wouldn't be completely untrue, but she's not a heartless person. In fact, when push comes to shove and Metera sees someone suffering or being a victim of injustice (especially if it's another girl), Metera is extremely compassionate. She's simply more of an "act in the moment" type of rescuer rather than someone to blindly accept a mission from a stranger. In addition, her relationship with her sister showcases just how much she cares for her, despite their differences. Sutera is shy, traditional, and modest. Yet the two sisters make time for each other and give each other small gifts. They also encourage each other in times of battle. All of these demonstrations of affection happen even though Metera "complains" about what "pain" her sister is. She cares deeply for the Captain, as well, as shown by one of her Birthday messages to the MC: Happy birthday! I was only able to join you on this journey because you were born into this world. So I'm especially thankful for a wonderful day like today. Anyway, that's enough seriousness for one day... Heehee. Lastly, she shows that she is willing to do almost anything for her friends, even if she complains the entire time. When Korwa pleads her to model for her, Metera undergoes grueling classes in order to make her friend happy. She demonstrates that she's a natural for it, as she seems to have a penchant for most things she tries, but achieving such skills didn't come without hard work. She repeatedly says that she must be a worthy canvas for Korwa's genius design. Powers and Abilities:
